Turning curiosity into passion
From 2022 to 2025 at MAHE Dubai, it’s been a journey full of learning, exploring, and growing. What began with a simple interest slowly turned into a strong passion for media and storytelling.
Here’s a look at how it all came together.
Year 1: Kick Starting
I began my journey by joining BA Media and Communication at MAHE Dubai. I was curious about everything, exploring new ideas, meeting people, and stepping into the world of media. I started attending events which university encouraged us early on, and over time, it became a habit. Slowly, I started building my network and getting a clearer understanding of the media industry.
November 2022
Attending the Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi was my first industry event, and it was a memorable experience. Over three days, I got to meet professionals, learn from them, and, with my team, conduct interviews with TV and radio channels. This opportunity gave me valuable hands-on experience early in my journey.
February 2023
Experienced professional in event videography with a passion for capturing moments that matter. My first professional event shoot was MEED | Middle East Economic Digest’s Mashreq Bank Sustainability Event at the iconic One&Only Royal Mirage, where I combined my skills and interests to bring the event to life through my lens.
The first year of college kickstarted my journey as a media student. Early on, I understood the importance of building a strong network, connecting with professionals, peers, and industry experts who could guide and inspire me. Along with lots of fun classroom sessions and hands on learning, I also began my freelance journey, working with clients to create event highlights, corporate videos and more.

Year 2: Curiosity at its Peak
During my second year, I focused on expanding my practical experience by collaborating on projects with seniors and peers, which greatly improved my skills and confidence. Photography became a major focus for me, and I dedicated more time and effort to developing my technique and creative vision. This period brought many opportunities and recognition that motivated me to keep pushing forward. Attending workshops and training sessions further enhanced my understanding to the field and expanding my network me refine my style, fueling my passion and commitment to the craft.

Wildlife photography has always been my passion, but during this time, I also explored other types of photography, broadening my skills and creative perspective.
